It's a tough call, but I'm heading to the hills (Big Belt Mountains, to be exact) for a last camping trip of the season. It's supposed to snow here Tuesday. I've waited to see if I could get some early results out of Evansville or Gunnison, but
nada.
I'll be back Sunday, which, hey, is still a day earlier than that other blog dedicated to Division II cross country.
I'll leave the comments open, if folks want to share what they saw and know.

"Adams state got destroyed at western home meet"
ReplyDeleteI believe Andrew Graham who was Adams State's 13th man at their recent race at Fort Collins actually placed ahead of WSC's no3 runner Tyler Rasmussen. As well as this transfer Nathan sellers (12th man at Fort Collins) placed ahead of WSC's 5th runner Loren Ahonen.I noticed that unfortunately WSC's two recruits from Europe did not fair well with one dropping out and the other finishing way down the field, I'm sure there is more to come from them though.
Word on the grapevine is that both teams were actually just running the race as a tempo. As a fan of rmac xc and as a mesa state alumni I was at the race watching our girls. Seeing the way that some of the ASC guys were chatting for the first couple of miles and the way WSC's team were all running together in a big pack i would be inclined to believe that this was the case.
Therefore I will be very exited to see how both RMAC powerhouses perform next week at OK state- Like an Australian I will be routing for them!
