After finishing second last year to half-mile stud Ashley Puga of Northwest Nazarene (another Puga, Jaclyn, didn't qualify), Nebraska-Omaha's Anja Puc will win the women's 800 meters. She's the fastest in the field by two seconds.
Jessica Pixler (Seattle Pacific) won't win, because she ain't running. But Adams State's Vanessa Roy will finish in silver position. And don't be surprised if she nabs the individual title.
In bronze position -- I still have Olympics fever -- I'll take experienced Stephanie Charnigo (Findlay) over Grand Valley State's due of Chanelle Caldwell and Lauren Bergstrom.
