Women's winners: Pixler, Grand Valley State

A reader astutely wondered where women's analysis was on this blog. As I've pleaded before, I'm only biting off what I can chew. But I intend to add women's coverage to the blog, hopefully as early as indoor nationals.
For the sake of argument (and better yet, your ideas), I'll take a stab at the womens NCAA II winners:
Individual: From what I understand, Jessica Pixler (Seattle Pacific) is a sort of unstoppable force. I like that. Last year's runner up, Morgan Spence of Shippensburg (the coach's kid; cool!) is back and rolling, too. I also watched Minnesota-Duluth's Morgan Place (seventh in Slippery Rock) run away from the deep Central Region a couple of weeks ago.
Team: This is a toughie for me. Seattle Pacfic, the likely pre-season favorite, was upended by Alaska-Anchorage at their conference and regional meets. Adams State and Western State are strong. Again. Missouri Sourthern edged Adams at the Cowboy Jamboree, although I think ASC has recovered some of its front-running strength. I'll take Grand Valley State, though. Second last year, the Lakers haven't been beaten this year and recorded a sub-45 second pack time at regionals. A win would be the first ever for GVSU. I mean, Adams State can't win their 15th title since they stormed into NCAA II competition in 1992, right? Right?
